Tekkote not only has a wide variety of materials to work with, but we have the experience and expertise to make them work best for your particular application. Our silicones, inks and coatings are custom-formulated to exceed precise customer specifications. Ink colors are stocked to meet virtually any color. Tekkote materials include:
Substrates
- Paper — heat resistant, variety of grades (MF, MG, SCK, Glassine, wet strength, recycled, clay-coated and more)
- Film — polyester (PET), biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), high-heat resistant, various surface grades, high tensile strength and transparent
- Poly-coated paper — Variety of resins (HD, PP and specialty), coated one side (C1S) silicone typically over the polymer, coated 2 sides (C2S) may be silicone coating on one or both sides
Silicones
- 100 percent solids, platinum catalyzed, thermal cure
- Silicone base components — base resin (multifunctional, end-terminated or pendant groups for polymerization; cross link compounds to bond the base resin chains together during polymerization; and catalysts [platinum])
Other Coatings
- Antistatic, polyvinyl alcohol primer coatings, non-silicone release coatings
